AMAR DOUBLE DET
Non-electric detonator system (Assembly of In-hole Delay Detonator and Surface Delay Detonator)
Features:
It is a combination of In-hole Delay Detonator and Surface Delay Detonator.
In-hole Delay Detonator at one end and Surface Delay Detonator at the other end is crimped to the shock tube.
Length of shock tube can be tailor made as required.
Advantage:
Since it is a combination of both In-hole Delay Detonator and Surface Delay Detonator, very simple and easy to connect at the field.
Reduced inventory and economical.
Accurate delay timing of both In-hole and Surface Delay Detonators.
Achieves true bottom priming
Eliminates toe problems
Reduces fly rock and vibrations.
Does not cause pressure desensitization of explosives
Increased blasting efficiency.
Low noise and elimination air pressure/ air blast effect
Immune to hazards of radio frequency radiation, stray currents and static electricity discharges.
Shock tube does not tangle
Relatively insensitive to impact, friction and flame compared to detonating fuse.
Uses :
Mainly used in quarries, opencast mines and civil/construction projects, etc for vibration & fly rock control and better blasting results.
Initiation:
Amar Double Detonators can be initiated by plain detonators or electrical detonators (No.6/No.8 strength) or Amardet Surface Delay Detonators.
Storage :
Store under moderate temperatures and dry conditions in a well ventilated approved detonator magazines.
