AMARDET IN-HOLE DELAY DETONATORS
Non-electric In-Hole Detonators
Features:
Shock tube is double layered.
No.8 strength In-hole delay detonator
DF connector is provided at the sealed end
Shock tube – designed for tough field conditions
Resistant to abrasion
Resistant to hot and cold explosive mixtures.
Delay period in milli second is printed on the DF connector.
Length of shock tube can be tailor made as required.
Advantage:
Accurate delay timing
Achieves true bottom initiation.
Does not cause pressure desensitization of explosives.
Reduces fly rock and vibration.
Eliminates toe problems.
Relatively insensitive to impact and friction compared to detonating fuse.
Increases blasting efficiency.
Uses :
Mainly used in Quarries/opencast mines and civil/construction projects for controlled blasting and vibration control.
Initiation:
Amardet In-hole delay detonators can be initiated with
   
- Electrical detonator ( No. 6/ No.8 strength)
- Detonating fuse (Trunk line)
- Amardet Surface Delay Detonator
- Amar Double det
Storage :
Store under moderate temperatures and dry condition in a well ventilated, approved detonator magazine.
