Premier Explosives Limited (PEL), is a highly reputed organisation with long experience in manufacturing High Energy Materials (HEMs) for industrial, Defence and Space applications. Along with manufacturing, the company has for several years attained a distinction for the conduct of high-end research on Advanced HEMs, sponsoring of research programs which have led to publications, award of doctorate degrees, participation and organisation of International and National conferences in association with various universities and Institutes. PEL is proud to have an extensive working pool of doctorate degree holders along with post-doctoral degree holders, in high-energy materials, and Engineers and Scientists at various levels.
PEL received a request from the FSLB (Govt. of Karnataka, India) for organising hands-on-training for its scientific officers (25 nos.) and considering the request, PEL is happy to sponsor an advanced training program on HEMs in two batches (28th Aug to 30th Aug.,23 and 4th-6th Sept.23). This program is aimed to make the participants understand and have hands-on training on the safety, testing, manufacture, storage, and handling of HEMs. The program also has lectures and panel discussions to benefit the participants. It is heartening to mention that the presence of the Chairman, Fellow and members of the Royal Society in Chemistry (Decan Section) at the panel discussions. Certificates for successful completion of the programs will be issued to the participants. The participants will have their training at the company’s two manufacturing units near Hyderabad and located at Peddakandukuru and Katepally. The program is being sponsored on a goodwill basis by PEL.
